Note:
* This occurs on Pass 1 of the system/ build, which uses the RC2 rootfs with GCC `8.3.0` etc.
* Commit ca543e8ec92cd508a6d596054474a180c462842d bumped libffi `3.4.2` --> `3.4.4`.
* I am bisecting libffi now.

```
As this has not been seen before, and may not be easily reproducible, here is a tarball with the state of the `src/` directory at the time of failure:
* https://temp.zv.io/llvm-14.0.6.src.tgz (~4.4GB; may be deleted at any time).
In an attempt to reproduce, within the aarch64 autobuilder debug environment, I did:
```
. /etc/profile
set +e
unset MAKEFLAGS # (drop -j)
cd src/llvm-14.0.6.src/build
make
```
but it built fine.
There is nothing in the `dmesg` output whatsoever.
