```
$ HERE=$(pwd) && (cd //tmp && for k in 9.1 9.2; do echo -n $k:\ && ${HERE}/coreutils-$k/src/pwd; done)
```
$ HERE=$(pwd) && (cd //tmp && for k in 9.1 9.2; do echo -n $k:\ && ${HERE}/coreutils-$k/src/pwd; done)
9.1: /tmp
9.2: //tmp
```
however it is not reproducible on a mostly-standard Ubuntu system:
```
$ HERE=$(pwd) && (cd //tmp && for k in 9.1 9.2; do echo -n $k:\ && ${HERE}/coreutils-$k/src/pwd; done)
9.1: /tmp
9.2: /tmp
```
This (`coreutils`) has been bisected to a `gnulib` bump, not a change in `coreutils` itself:
This definitely passed yesterday using a possibly-outdated tree. Maybe related to the recent `dash` bump 1e22a0733e5969aed017e75ee44c7a4ba93a980d?
Note that f441488dd1040792617e6231bb38238c0f9057fe bumped `diffutils` from `3.8` to `3.9`, which seems to be the issue.
Note also, bumping `libksba` to `1.6.3` seems to work with `1.46`.
In which case, autobuilder needs an update to ensure locale consistency.
The root cause is that `::1 localhost` is missing from `/etc/hosts`. Are the tests broken, if they fail on a system with that file containing only `127.0.0.1 localhost`?
As this has not been seen before, and may not be easily reproducible, here is a tarball with the state of the `src/` directory at the time of failure:
* https://temp.zv.io/llvm-14.0.6.src.tgz (~4.4GB; may be deleted at any time).
In an attempt to reproduce, within the aarch64 autobuilder debug environment, I did:
```
. /etc/profile
set +e
unset MAKEFLAGS # (drop -j)
cd src/llvm-14.0.6.src/build
make
```
but it built fine.
There is nothing in the `dmesg` output whatsoever.
