PATH is affected by the host system and only works by coincidence

On some systems, PATH may not include all the requisite components for working inside of the rootfs environment(s) used by autobuilder.

Altering PATH globally, however, might cause other breakage if the utilities used by the script itself are installed in non-standard locations.
